Something Blue

What was your something blue at your wedding? For Yazmeen and Ian, it was the colour that tied their beautiful, intimate wedding together.

During our initial call, Yazmeen laid out her wedding vision in the most organized way. It was clear that her creative hands would be casting all the magic throughout every aspect of the wedding, and admittedly, we felt a bit worried. It's easy to feel that way when you've been a bride and groom yourself, when we were knee-deep in our own visions and ambitions that pretty much zapped all our superpowers after the fact...but on the day of Yazmeen & Ian's wedding, it was clear that nothing could stop them.

In the spacious backyard of Ian's family's home, the skies were clear and the sun shone in all its glory. The wind came as a much needed comfort for us and the family as everyone took their seats and waited in anticipation for the ceremony to begin.

Probably the most special detail was that everyone was in on the theme, donning their chosen shade of blue. Amongst all the blue and the perfect weather, it felt like swimming in a dreamy sea...which was perfect, as Yazmeen and Ian soon travelled to Greece for their own, private elopement.

What does something blue even mean anyway? Well...amongst other results from a quick Google search, something blue symbolizes deep love. We can surely attest that that is exactly what we felt through this beautiful couple and the warm family that surrounded them during this special chapter in the lives.
